Industrially manufactured wood is used as required for structure and sizing such as the jump rails, which need to follow regulation standards. However, they are sourced from as locally as possible to minimize the environmental impact of shipping them over great distances. Reclaimed wood from local farms is used for the jumps which has been harvested from fallen trees that would otherwise rot or be burned. The wood is milled and either solar kiln or air dried; and then used in various aspects of the jump designs.
