AmberWay Equine uses grills that are constructed using the most corrosion-resistant grill bars in the industry. They are manufactured with Thundercoat™ galvanized steel tubing from Wheatland Tube. Thundercoat™ tubing combines an extra-heavy layer of zinc, an in-line galvanized coating, a conversion coating, and a clear top coat to "seal" the surface. Our tubing lasted more than three times as long as hot-dipped galvanized (schedule 40) pipe in independent salt spray tests. Some horse stall manufacturers use a triple-coat galvanized product that offers less than half of the protection of Thundercoat™ (see chart at left). Thundercoat™ tubing greatly out performs both products.
